“Australian online sales conducted on mobile phone devices tripled to almost 10 per cent in the 10 months to December, according to recent research from IBM’s global business services arm.”

Companies such as Country Road now provide digital catalogues and near stockist to buy the item cleverly linking geo functionality of a smart phone to a retail strategy. At next months Melbourne fashion show L’Oreal & Westfield will launch an app called ‘runway’ allowing members of the audience to buy hot off the catwalk!
